Carrigaholt Bay

Carrigaholt Bay offers safe harbour to boats sailing up the Shannon Estuary. From this harbour one can take a trip on a dolphin watch boat. Whale watching tours are also available in late summer and early autumn. The coastline in this area is a haven for nature lovers with many bird species to be found including gannets, razorbills and peregrine falcons.

Carrigaholt Bay is a Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point.
