Gorteen Bay
Gorteen Bay and beach is on the sheltered east facing side of Errisbeg peninsula about two miles west of Roundstone, in Connemara on the west coast of Ireland. The Errisbeg headland or isthmus gives it’s name to the nearby hill of Mount Errisbeg which offers a picturesque backdrop to Gurteen Bay.
Gorteen Beach itself (also known as Port na Feadóige in Irish) is a beautiful 1km cresent of white sand.
