Rossguill Peninsula is located between Fanad Peninsula and Horn Head in the north-west County Donegal, Ireland.
Rossguill is one of the most eastern of all Gaeltacht areas (Irish speaking areas). It has a lively traditional music and arts scene.
There are many popular walks and hikes on the peninsula catering for all abilities plus of course angling, golf and watersports.
Downings Harbour in Sheephaven Bay is a well known and world class big game fishing destination. Sport fishing charter boats set out from here each autumn for giant bluefin tuna fishing charters. There is also a dive centre in Carrigart offering diving courses, equipment rentals and boat charter. There are many dive sites in the area where you may get to see shipwrecks and sharks in the clear waters.
