Kilmackillogue Viewpoint
The Beara Peninsula offers much to the traveller. Hiking, water sports and horse riding for the active sorts with walking and relaxing picnics for less arduous days. Kilmackillogue Viewpoint is one such ideal picnic spot with wonderful views over the Beara peninsula and Kenmare river.
The car park is accessed via a short narrow road with the picnic area located a short walking distance away.
Kilmackillogue village itself is a tiny fishing where one can watch the fishermen bring in their catch and sample the same mussels and salmon later in the village’s only pub.
