Mountain Stage is a spot on the Ring of Kerry road between Rossbeigh and Kells that presents a scenic vista and a wonderful photo opportunity. The view includes Rossbeigh Beach and Inch Beach on your right-hand side with Dingle Bay stretching before you.
On the mountain hills behind you are the remains of the old Killorglin to Valentia line of the Great Southern and Western Railway which opened in 1893 and closed in 1960. There are plans to revitalise the disused track, which must have spectacular views, as a Cycling Greenway.
